It's never too late and nowdays you can follow for finding someone speed-dating programs, also it exists marriage agencies.

And for just interacting there are plenty of activities out here that helps it only by simply doing one that require teaming or help by others.

But having a couple program is a good idea to add in our worldy educational school system. Unfortunately, there are plenty of problems about it so that's why that don't exists.

1) What do you do when you're paired with someone you don't like at all or even hate ? Or even if you like someone else and are not paired with ?
2) You think parents would accept their childs to be paired to live with someone else that easily ?
3) Depending of the nature of him or her things can certainly turn good but also bad which is not really stated on this anime. You know, there is bad things and worse then worst....

4) Also what's more horrific here, is the fact that this school evaluate passing exams by calculating the points of this couple program into exams points too.

So in fact they simply force two people to pretend to love each others and living under the same roof for highschool life even if they don't want to they have to... that's insane...

There might be one but not an extent this anime is showing since there is life studies classes that has something similar for Highschool and College at least I think there is. Ofc I only seen something of the concept in teen comedies like the US's "Save By The Bell!" or the sitcom "Family Matters!" that was back in the 90's tv shows.

it's difficult to come to this conclusion humans live longer these days and with India and china deciding to increase their population at it's tidally coupled with the economy growth also we just hit 8 billion yeah i can see over population being a thing especially due to unfair distribution of resources
